What does the role entail: You will be developing cutting tool sales within end-user production facilities and distribution customers within your designated area. Supporting and advising customers with technical information and machining strategies, along with running tool trials with the customers. In working with our valued customer base our Sales Engineers promote and sell our range of products, by managing existing clients, sourcing new customers, following up sales leads and developing new revenue streams from the customer base. Initial and regular product training will be given.

You will be reporting directly to the regional sales manager, who has been with Guhring for 12 years and has a wealth of knowledge in Aerospace tooling and cutting tools in general, and the department head who is the National Sales manager with 19 years of experience at Guhring.
We are looking for a responsible person to work with and support the Warehouse Department. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be well organised and flexible.

We are looking for an experienced IT Technician to maintain the internal network, IT infrastructure and hosted servers. The position is based at the company’s office in Birmingham, working full-time (40 hours per week). You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of users (internal, external and the German parent company IT team) Our ideal candidate will be able to provide expert technical advice, respond to and resolve issues, whilst continually driving a great end user experience.
Key Accountabilities
• Administering and maintaining our internal and hosted IT infrastructure
• Updating and replacing proprietary software and hardware
• Providing IT support to our in-house and external teams
• Support telephone system and mobile phones
• Monitor and provide the required security for internet usage (Incl Cyber security processes), back-up solutions and disaster recovery planning.
